TIANJIN, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Hunan dominated the first day competitions of the weightlifting tournament by taking the two gold medals on offer at the 13th National Games here on Monday.
Hou Zhihui and Liao Qiuyun won the gold medals in women's 48kg and 53kg respectively.
Hou returned to her best form after narrowly missing the Rio Olympics in 2016 but proving herself in Tianjin Monday evening. The 20-year-old had her normal play in snatch, finishing at 93kg, while Zhang Rong of Fujian led the event at 95kg.

NEW YORK, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- The New York city has raised theminimum price of cigarettes and little cigars to 13 U.S. dollarsand placed a cap on tobacco retail dealer licenses in an effort tocrackdown on smoking.
The anti-smoking move came in on Monday when the city mayor Billde Blasio signed seven bills to help reduce the number ofsmokers.
