OAKLAND Joey Bosa Jersey , Calif. (AP) —of horrors for Ben Roethlisberger in his career. While Big Ben has had success almost everywhere he has played, he’s still looking for his first career win in Oakland after losing his three previous trips to Raiders teams that combined for just 10 wins in those three seasons.Roethlisberger gets his final chance at a win in Oakland on Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4-1) look to snap a two-game losing streak when they visit the struggling Raiders (2-10).Article continues below ...“Well that’s what makes it fun, right?” Roethlisberger said. “You asked me about the venues, the fans, and all those things. It’s not an easy place to play. What an awesome challenge for us.”TheRaiders are the only AFC opponent Roethlisberger hasn’t beaten on the road since entering the league in 2004.Roethlisberger’s first trip to Oakland came in 2006 as defending Super Bowl champion and he threw four interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns in a 20-13 loss to a Raiders team that finished that season with two wins.Roethlisberger came back again in 2012 and ’13 against Oakland teams that finished 4-12. He played better in those games but still ended up on the short end, losing 34-31 in 2012 on a last-second field goal by Sebastian Janikowski, and 21-18 the following year thanks in part to a 93-yard run on the opening play by Terrelle Pryor. Now he gets to face another down Oakland squad that at least showed some signs of life last week in a 40-33 home loss to AFC-leading Kansas City that got Roethlisberger’s attention.“You see what they did last week against of one of the best teams in football and fought them all the way to the end, so we can’t worry about records,” he said. “I’ve never won there, so that becomes a challenge as well.”Here are some other things to watch:SECOND CHANCE FOR WASHINGTONPittsburgh picked wide receiver James Washington in the second round of the draft with the hopes Washington would take over as the team’s primary deep threat for Martavis Bryant — who the Steelers dealt to Oakland. It hasn’t quite worked out the way Washington planned. He has eight receptions for 77 yards through 12 games and was a healthy scratch last week against the Chargers. An injury to Justin Hunter Nick Bosa Jersey , however, opened the door back up for Washington.“Sometimes you get knocked down,” Tomlin said. “You’ve got to get in the lab and work.”PROTECT THE BALLThe good news last week for the Raiders’ running game is the team gained 171 yards on the ground, the most since Week 2 in 2017. The bad news is halfbacks Doug Martin, Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington all lost fumbles, playing a big role in the team’s loss to Kansas City.TERRIFIC TERRELLSteelers rookie safety Terrell Edmunds is growing up quickly on the job. He got the first sack of his career last week when he chased down Philip Rivers, and with veteran Morgan Burnett struggling to stay healthy, Edmunds has shouldered a significant workload. He’s missed just three plays combined over the last two weeks, and his speed and sure tackling are reason’s Pittsburgh’s run defense is markedly improved over last season.COOKING IT UPTight end Jared Cook has been one of the few bright spots for the Raiders. Cook has already matched his career high with 54 catches and six touchdowns this season, and his 709 yards receiving are 50 off his personal best set in 2011 in Tennessee. Cook is fourth in the league among all tight ends in yards receiving, and only Travis Kelce and Eric Ebron have more TD catches.“We’re just trying our best to feature him every way we know how L.J. Collier Jersey ,” coach Jon Gruden said. “He’s also doing a lot in pass protection and the running game. He’s got to be a Pro Bowl tight end this year, I think.”COMMITTEE APPROACHWith James Conner, whose 12 rushing touchdowns are second in the league, out with a sprained left ankle, the Steelers will turn to veteran Stevan Ridley and rookie Jaylen Samuels to share the load out of the backfield. The two have combined for 30 carries for 87 yards while spelling Conner, though Samuels does have two touchdown receptions.“I have been awaiting a shot, awaiting this opportunity, and we need to go out there and handle business, however it is,” Ridley said. “I don’t care how it gets done.” CHICAGO (AP) — For most of the season, it’s been a solo act for Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears‘ defense. After quarterback Mitchell Trubisky’s breakthrough game Sunday http://www.seahawksauthorizedshops.com/authentic-marquise-blair-jersey , the Bears’ defense and offense seem to be in sync. The defense made three interceptions and Mack continued pressuring the quarterback, while Trubisky threw for a career-high six touchdown passes in the Bears’ 48-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.“He came up and showed why he’s the guy,” Mack said about Trubisky, who completed 19 of 26 passes for 354 yards. It was supposed to be a matchup between the league’s top-ranked Bucs offense and the Bears’ best pass-rushing defense. Trubisky changed it.In improving to 3-1 for the first time since 2013, the Bears turned it into a rout by scoring touchdowns on four straight first-half possessions. All came on passes by Trubisky.Trubisky finished one TD pass short of the franchise mark set by Sid Luckman against the New York Giants in 1943. It’s also an NFL mark Luckman shares with seven others. The Bears racked up 483 yards in this one, nearly matching their record of 488 in that same game.“It’s very humbling because you know the history of the Bears and how many great players have come through this organization,” Trubisky said. “For me, you’re just trying to create your own legacy and try to make a path.”Trubisky found five different receivers for TDs in the first half and the Bears led 38-3.“Our defense continues to play lights out,” Trubisky said. “It’s awesome to take some pressure off them and put some points on the board.”Mack made a strip-sack on Ryan Fitzpatrick in the first half. That gave him a sack and forced fumble in four straight games, the first time it’s been done since Robert Mathis for the Indianapolis Colts in 2005.Down big at the half, Bucs coach Dirk Koetter pulled Fitzpatrick and inserted Jameis Winston for his first action since a three-game suspension for a league conduct violation.Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan had one of Chicago’s three interceptions on a Winston pass that was deflected by Mack T.J. Hockenson Jersey , and the defense made four more sacks after leading the league through three weeks with 14.“It feels good,” Trevathan said. “It feels like we’re a complete team.”Here are some things to consider from Chicago’s win over Tampa Bay:PICK-8: The Bears’ three interceptions — one each by Trevathan, Aaron Lynch and Eddie Jackson — brought the team’s season total to eight. They had eight in each of the last three full seasons, matching a franchise single-season low. So pass rush pressure is obviously having an effect.“To see the guys in the back end making plays, that’s what you want to see,” Mack said. “And being in a position to affect the quarterback to make them make those throws. It’s a good feeling, especially going into the bye.”DUSTING OFF: Winston shook off the rust when he came on for Fitzpatrick. Winston was 16 of 20 for 145 yards but had two picks along with one TD pass. Koetter stopped just short of saying who would start when the Bucs play again Oct. 14 at Atlanta, after their bye week.“Probably,” Koetter answered when asked if Winston would start. “But we’ll worry about that on another day.”PORES GALOREThe porous Bucs secondary has been hit hard by injuries, and it showed.Second-year safety Isaiah Johnson made his first career start, after Chris Conte went on IR and Jordan Whitehead suffered a shoulder injury.Cornerback Carlton Davis aggravated a groin strain during the game.“I mean Jahlani Tavai Jersey , we couldn’t play zone. We couldn’t play man,” Koetter said.TOSSEDBears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks will be subjected to a fine and possible suspension after being ejected for pushing an official late in the first half. The incident occurred after Jackson intercepted a pass by Fitzpatrick. Hicks was involved in a scuffle away from the play with a Buccaneers player. Down judge Mike Carr had separated them when Hicks charged back and pushed the official, referee Jerome Boger told a pool reporter.“It was just a deliberate act, when he knew the official was there in-between,” Boger said.Hicks, who has three sacks this season, remained on the sideline for a few plays before leaving the field. He then threw his shoulder pads and jersey into the stands.SWEET SUCCESSThe Bear lined backup quarterback Chase Daniel up in the backfield twice alongside Trubisky in a trick formation. On one play, Trubisky threw a shovel pass to Taylor Gabriel for a 3-yard TD pass.Nagy said they gave the play a sweet name when practicing it during the week.“Willy Wonka,” he said.
